With the world at war both culturally and religiously it appears divisions between us are becoming more pronounced. It is also true our similarities are presenting themselves as never before.

I am responding to the evolutionary crossroads we face again as the Human Race.

This is a project shining a light on the similarities of all religions and a project of encouragement for all the faiths.

For the past 7 years I have traveled the roads of all the faiths, playing our Human Family's sacred music and speaking boldly about what all faiths have in common. Based on my experience in comparative religion and my training in Psychology( Masters Degree), the Golden Rule is the fundamental principle all religions share and to Love each other what all individuals secretly long for.

Practicing the Golden Rule and practicing Loving each other, is where the whole human race is struggling. It’s like reading about how to ride a horse. The instructions and techniques are very obvious and very clear. Actually getting on a horse and riding it is a completely different experience, fraught with personal challenges beyond the written word.

I am a voice for the similarities of all religions.

I believe what we share is stronger than what divides us.

I am a voice for this point of view.

The material world is constantly seducing us to believe vulnerability is death and should be avoided at all cost. Divine intelligence is constantly reminding us vulnerability is life. To become like the fully trusting little one. A return to innocence - becoming as a little child.

The story of the Chinese farmer is further illustration of these changes in perception. The farmer’s horse runs away. His neighbor cries `now you are a poor man' the farmers response is " could be bad could be good, don't know" The next day the horse returns with 5 wild horses. The neighbor rejoices " Now you are a rich man!!" The farmer responds, "Could be good, could be bad, don't know" The next day his son is riding one of the wild horses, falls off and breaks his leg. The neighbor screams "now you have no-one to work your farm!! The farmer again "could be bad, could be good, don't know". The next day the military comes to consign all of the young men in the village to go away and fight and die in the bloody war... but they can't take the farmers son.

And so it goes. The parable is reminding us that, we project onto the events of our lives our belief system. The events are neither good or bad or right or wrong or life or death, but our beliefs make it so. When in Truth ...we don't know... This again the vulnerable choice, we are learning to practice being comfortable not knowing. Our experience of Paradise, beyond division, innocent of judgment, like a little child. Toward God communion, where we are truly safe. Laying down our sword and shield. Letting go of holding on to our beliefs about the chaotic dualistic world. Coming to rest for some moments in timelessness.

All faiths are inviting us to give up the world of needing to know(head) and to practice not knowing (heart). We are praying to the same God, and the same God we are praying to is asking us to make the journey from the head to the heart, from judgment to innocence, the journey from social consciousness to God consciousness. The Journey without Distance to a goal that has never changed. And to find as we journey that what we share is stronger than what divides us.
